Top 5 Orlando Music Venues

If you are in Orlando on a business trip, or visiting with family and want to get away for a few hours, check out some of the best Orlando music venues and jam out to some tunes.

Orlando is one of the most frequented stops on mainstream musician tours. We have seen some incredible shows from so many iconic performers. Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Elton John to name a few. Most world tours eventually make a stop in Orlando. With so much amazing music in the area, we have our fair share of equally amazing venues.

5 – Howl at The Moon – 8815 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819

Howl at The Moon is one of my favorite Orlando Music Venues. There aren’t a ton of “mainstream” performances here, but the local talent never fails to put on a show. This popular tourist spot is famous for their wide variety of buckets of booze. My go-to is the Fruit Roll Up, it tastes exactly how you think it would.

4 – Hard Rock Live – 6050 Universal Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819

Who hasn’t heard of the Hard Rock Live? This specific location is located in the heart of Universal Orlando’s City Walk. This venue consistently brings some of the biggest artists to the Orlando area. This is a venue an Orlando wedding DJ dreams of performing in. They also have a full restaurant and bar. with some killer Mac & Cheese. Once the show wraps up. make a stop next door at The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen for a gourmet milkshake!

3 – House of Blues – 1490 E Buena Vista Dr, Orlando, FL 32830

This one is really a tie with number 4. The House of Blues is located in the world-famous Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs. They also host some of the most iconic artists in the industry today. I have seen countless shows at this Orlando music venue. They serve up a great Vodka and Red Bull to keep those feet moving all night.

Side Note: If you have never been to Disney Springs, definitely make it a point to stop on your next Orlando trip. There are tons of shops, restaurants, bars and even a luxury bowling alley called Splitsville. If you ever host a party at the lanes be sure to Contact Us so we can mix the hits for you!

2 – The Abbey – 100 S Eola Dr #100, Orlando, FL 32801

This venue is one of the smaller venues in the area, not that this takes away from just how incredible this little spot is. This venue is nestled next to Lake Eola in the heart of downtown Orlando. If you are staying at any of the area hotels, this hip place is certainly within walking distance. Be sure to check their website for their upcoming events before heading out as they sometimes have private events.

1 – The Social – 54 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801

This indie club is also in the heart of downtown Orlando. This venue is very small, up-close, and personal. It makes for an incredibly amazing and intimate show. I have been here to see many different artists, such as Manchester Orchestra, who put on an epic show. I also seen Fun, before they were world-known. This is my number one Orlando music venue simply for the intimacy of the shows. Definitely put this venue on your bucket list.
